The Enlighten global illumination team has released a new 3.12.P1 patch version for the SDK and UE4 (version 4.26) and it is now available for developers and evaluation.
This patch version fixes major lingering issues and introduces a number of improvements to both the SDK and UE4 versions.
The SDK version boosts automatic probe placement and per pixel probe lighting in massive worlds, significantly reducing precompute time for automatic probes, significant reduction to update time and memory usage of per pixel probe lighting, as well as improved real-time ray tracing compatibility.
The UE4 version increases probe visualization responsiveness with large numbers of probes, reduced probe memory in certain cases, and significantly faster texture updates on PS5 and Xbox Series.
