Silicon Studio Head of Data Science to present at Pocket Game Connects and discuss YOKOZUNA data

Head of Data Science of middleware and game development company Silicon Studio Corporation, Dr. África Periáñez, will be speaking at the Pocket Gamer Connects conference in San Francisco, where she will discuss the critical role of data science in revamping game design. The presentation will focus on challenges in game data science, and how to achieve a thorough understanding of player behavior by adopting the most advanced machine-learning techniques (Deep Learning and Ensemble Learning).

Oscar Clark (Unity Technologies / Industry Veteran) will interview Dr. Periáñez about the essential function of Data Science has for a modern design of games. As part of her presentation, Dr. Periáñez will also be introducing YOKOZUNA data, the latest product of Silicon Studio, a state-of-the-art machine-learning platform that predicts individual player behavior.
