Silicon Studio Corporation, developer of digital content to the entertainment industry, is pleased to present YEBIS 2, a post-effects middleware solution that enables the display of advanced optical effects. It was used to demonstrate high quality real time post-effects imaging technology in AGNI'S PHILOSOPHY, produced by Square Enix.

YEBIS 2 is a post-effect middleware solution for 3D/2D graphics that enables post-effects such as glare representation, lens effects (optical simulation), film/photosensitive effects, real/pseudo HDR representation, and anti-aliasing.

The YEBIS 2 middleware was produced using Luminous Studio, Square Enix, Inc.'s next-generation integrated game development environment. This environment was used to demonstrate the high quality real time post-effects imaging technology in AGNI'S PHILOSOPHY. It allows for the real time rendering of photo-realistic graphics.

It was produced with the goal of "increasing the expressive power of real-time CG to the same level of quality as pre-rendered CG" and enables the manipulation of detailed images in real time, on high end PCs.
